Alan Adams to lead Tadpole’s Australian growth

Tadpole is delighted to welcome Alan Adams as the head of our Australian business.

Based in Melbourne, Alan brings extensive experience in sustainability, packaging, and manufacturing across Australia and the wider Asia ‑ Pacific region. He has a strong track record of working with industry, customers, and regulators to drive positive change.

Alan is a recognised sustainability leader who has helped large organisations design and deliver sustainability and circular economy strategies, particularly in packaging, resource efficiency, and advanced recycling. He has worked closely with industry bodies and customers to develop practical solutions that respond to regulatory expectations while supporting commercial outcomes and innovation.

As a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Alan brings a strong governance lens to ESG conversations, helping Boards and executives connect sustainability, risk, and long‑term value creation. He currently serves on the Board and Audit & Risk Committee of the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO), the peak body for the Australian packaging industry, giving him deep insight into emerging expectations and best practice.

Alan’s broad background across marketing, human resources, sales leadership, and sustainability roles gives him a practical commercial perspective and a collaborative, stakeholder‑focused approach to value creation. His deep experience in the Australian market, combined with his passion for practical, solution‑focused sustainability, will be invaluable as we support Australian organisations to meet environmental, social, governance, and climate‑related disclosure requirements with confidence and clarity.

Tadpole co‑founders, Allan Birch and Wymond Symes, are thrilled to have Alan on board.
